Reverse Engineering Penerima Sinyal Televisi Satelit Menggunakan Antena Parabola Dish Solid Alloy 6 Feet

Abstract

Televisi satelit merupakan suatu perangkat telekomunikasi yang dapat mengirimkan data berupa gambar dan suara. Serta bisa disamakan dengan televisi broadcast dan televisi kabel. Pada umumnya televisi menggunakan antena yagi untuk mendapatkan channel – channel yang diinginkan. Namun hasil yang didapatkan kurang maksimal karena jumlah siaran yang sedikit dan kualitas siaran yang buruk. Dengan alasan ini maka dibuatlah penelitian ini. Dimana televisi menggunakan antena parabola dish sholid alloy berukuran 6 feet dan menggunakan LNB (Low Noise Block) jenis C-Band yang diarahkan ke satelit Palapa D pada titik koordinat 113°-112°E=1° dengan sudut inklinasi 1.3° dan sudut deklinasi 11.5°, yang diteruskan ke digital satelite receiver dan dimasukan ke audio, video pararel untuk mendapatkan output berupa audio dan video pada layar televisi. Dengan kualitas sinyal 74%-78% dan jumlah channel sebanyak 118 channel pada frekuensi 3600-4186 MHz , diantaranya 72 channel free to air dan 46 channel prepaid.

Satellite television is a telecommunications device that can transmit data in the form of images and sounds. And can be likened to broadcast television and cable television. In general television uses yagi antennas to get the desired channels. But the results obtained were not optimal because of the small number of broadcasts and poor broadcast quality. For this reason, this final project was made. Where television uses a 6-foot sholid alloy dish antenna and uses a C-band type LNB (Low Noise Block) directed to Palapa D satellite at the coordinates of 113 ° -112 ° E = 1 ° with an inclination angle of 1.3 ° and a declination angle of 11.5 °, which is forwarded to the digital satellite receiver and inserted into the audio, parallel video to get output in the form of audio and video on a television screen. With signal quality 74% -78% and the number of channels as many as 118 channels in the frequency of 3600-4186 MHz, including 72 free to air and 46 prepaid channels.
